House of Slendrina is one of the Slendrina games by Dennis Vukanovic, the Swedish developer who publishes as DVloper and later made Granny. It came to the App Store in 2015, after Slendrina: The Cellar, and on Google Play it has more than ten million downloads.

This time the game takes you into Slendrina's house to find out who she is. The store says she is more evil than usual. Rooms with flowered wallpaper, carpeted stairs and framed pictures sit in near darkness; you see only what your flashlight lights up. Slendrina herself, long black hair, white face, open black mouth and a white dress, appears in the corridors and stands behind you when you turn.

Your goal is to find eight pieces of a picture hidden around the house. Together they open a key cabinet, and from there the way leads down to the cellar and its secret. Some doors are locked, so you also search for keys, and the store's advice is to look everywhere. A counter at the top of the screen tracks the pieces and keys you have.

It is free with ads. It suits players who started with Slendrina: The Cellar or Granny and want the same search-in-the-dark with a house to explore.

How to play House of Slendrina

1. Enter the house and switch on your flashlight.
2. Search every room for the eight pieces of the picture; the counter shows how many you have.
3. Pick up keys to open the locked doors.
4. Keep moving when Slendrina appears, and do not let her get close.
5. Use the finished picture to open the key cabinet, then go down to the cellar.

Tips

• Check corners, shelves and behind doors; pieces can be anywhere.
• When you hear or see Slendrina, turn away and move to another room.
• Remember which doors were locked so you can go back once you find the key.
