What frightens Jolly the bee and the other animatronics of a family party venue wander its floors at night; you track them on cameras, ration building power from a limited generator and send the elevator back up before something rides it down to your office.

Content: jumpscares, loud sounds.

A free Five Nights at Freddy's-style fan game by IvanG. As the night guard at Jolly's Fantasy World you survive five nights against Jolly the bee and his gang, juggling building power, a limited generator, an elevator and a door that is your last resort.

About JOLLY

JOLLY is a fan game by IvanG, first released on Game Jolt in 2016 and still updated, most recently with a tenth-anniversary version. It is a free download for Windows.

Jolly's Fantasy World is a restaurant and party venue starring everyone's favourite bee, Jolly, and his gang. The hours have been extended, and someone has to guard the building at night. That is you, in a tiled office with a dark window, a box of robot parts and a phone that rings with advice.

The building's power is limited. A generator can charge it, but the generator's own reserve is limited too, so every look through the cameras costs something. The cameras cover several floors, and an elevator leads down to you: when it starts to come down, you push it back up before someone undesirable rides it to your door. Closing the door is the final defence, and it eats power.

Between nights, 8-bit minigames tell the venue's story, and a custom night lets you set the animatronics yourself. It suits players who know the official games and want one with its own set of mechanics to learn.

How to play JOLLY

  1. Download the free Windows version from the game's Game Jolt page.
  2. Open the camera monitor, switch floors and keep track of where each animatronic is.
  3. Hold to charge building power from the generator, but watch the generator's own reserve.
  4. When the elevator starts down, push it back up.
  5. Close the door only as a last resort, and survive until 6 AM.

Tips

  • Listen to the phone calls; they explain each new threat.
  • Do not spend generator power you will need later in the night.
  • Play the minigames between nights for the story behind the venue.
