What frightens A night guard walks a dark, rebuilt Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria in first person, with the office's doors and lights, a camera tablet and a draining power meter, while Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy become unstable and have to be kept away.

Content: blood.

Creepy Nights at Freddy's is a free fan game by RUIR that rebuilds the first Five Nights at Freddy's pizzeria in Unreal Engine 4 with full free roam, released on Game Jolt on Halloween 2018. You are the night guard, with doors, lights, cameras and limited power, and the animatronics turn unstable at night.

About Creepy Nights at Freddy's

Creepy Nights at Freddy's is a fan game by RUIR, released on Game Jolt on 31 October 2018 and made in Unreal Engine 4. Its programmer, Immortalized, built it with animatronic models by Rynfox and map and props by AustinTheBear and SAB; Scott Cawthon is credited for the original idea, images and sounds.

The set-up is the one Five Nights at Freddy's fans know, told in a few lines of a phone message: you are the night guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, the animatronics can become unstable, but never mind, just stay away from them. What changes is the point of view. The game page promises full free roam, and its screenshots show the pizzeria rebuilt in 3D: the cluttered office with its posters, fan and cupcake, a door with red and white buttons beside it, the dark dining area and Foxy behind the curtain of Pirate Cove.

The guard's tools are the familiar ones. A camera tablet shows the building's map from the Show Stage to the halls outside your office, with the hour, the night and the power left and in use, and the doors and lights stand at either side of the office. The animatronics, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy, are rebuilt with high-detail models.

The page lists the maker's system requirements: a GTX 750-class graphics card or better, 4 GB of RAM, DirectX 11 and about 2.4 GB of space. A sequel, Creepy Nights at Freddy's 2, followed in 2020. It suits players who want to walk the first game's pizzeria at night instead of watching it from the chair.

How to play Creepy Nights at Freddy's

  1. Download the game from its Game Jolt page and extract the .rar archive to a folder.
  2. Start a new game; each night begins at 12 AM in the office.
  3. Open the camera tablet to see where the animatronics are, and keep an eye on the power left.
  4. Use the doors and lights by the office to keep the animatronics away from you.
  5. Survive the night until morning to move on to the next.

Tips

  • The tablet shows how much power you are using as well as how much is left; check both.
  • Check the system requirements on the page before downloading; the game needs a DirectX 11 graphics card.
  • Keep an eye on Pirate Cove; Foxy waits behind its curtain.
