Ultra Custom Night is a free fan-made expansion of Five Nights at Freddy's Ultimate Custom Night by KamilFirma, released on Game Jolt in 2020. You build your own night from a roster of more than 870 characters, set each one's difficulty from 0 to 20, and try to survive in the office until 6 AM; a campaign mode of about three hours is included.

About Ultra Custom Night

Ultra Custom Night is a fan game by KamilFirma, first released on Game Jolt on 23 May 2020 and made in Clickteam Fusion. Its maker says it began as an attempt to bring the features of the mobile port of Scott Cawthon's Ultimate Custom Night to the PC version, and to add a few bonus characters once the original 50 were rebuilt. The first release stopped at 100 characters. Updates kept adding more, and by version 1.6.7 in 2024 the roster had grown to 873, drawn from the main games, the spin-offs, the merchandise, the Fazbear Fanverse and other fan games. The maker has said that update leaves the game in its final state.

The play is that of Ultimate Custom Night. You choose who comes for you and how hard each one tries, on a scale from 0 to 20, and then hold out in the office through the night. Every character has its own rule, so the job grows with the roster: close the doors, check the vents and air ducts, wind the music box, watch the cameras on eight floors, read the vent radar and the GPS, run the power generator, heater and A/C, and finish the tasks the night hands you, all while the power, the noise and the temperature work against you. Faz-Coins can be collected along the way.

The campaign mode, which the maker puts at more than three hours, gives a set order of nights instead of a blank roster. The Game Jolt page also offers the original 100-character version 1.0.0, a pack of prerelease builds and an online add-on.

Much of the roster is joking (the patch notes list a Trollface Freddy and Scooby-Doo), but the nights are as hard as you make them, and a full roster on high levels is a test few finish. It suits players who have beaten Ultimate Custom Night and want more of it.

How to play Ultra Custom Night

Download the main package from the Game Jolt page and run the Windows executable; the game is large, close to 2 GB.
Pick characters from the roster and set each one's difficulty from 0 to 20, or start the campaign mode.
In the office, watch the cameras, vents and ducts, and close the doors when something comes for you.
Switch between the power generator, heater, A/C and the other systems the characters you chose call for.
Survive until 6 AM to earn points for that night's setup.

Tips

Start with a handful of characters you know from Ultimate Custom Night before adding the new ones.
Each character has its own counter; learn one at a time on a low level.
