What frightens A patient who lost part of his brain walks his hospital room at night as if holding a flashlight and screaming; inside his head you face rotted nightmare animatronics in dark corridors and homes, a toothed Fredbear, a torn rabbit and figures in the shadows whispering Join us.

Content: jumpscares, loud sounds.

Final Nights 3: Nightmares Awaken is a free FNAF fan game by JeliLiam, made in Unreal Engine 4. A patient in intensive care walks his room at night as if he is seeing things, and you play out his nightmares: partial free roam, a flashlight, voice-acted cutscenes and multiple endings.

About Final Nights 3: Nightmares Awaken

Final Nights 3: Nightmares Awaken is the third game of JeliLiam's Final Nights fan series, released on Game Jolt in May 2016 and built in Unreal Engine 4 with a team of modellers, animators, musicians and voice actors. It is a free download for Windows. At release it was billed as the conclusion to the Final Nights lore; JeliLiam later went back to the series' beginning with Final Nights 4: Fates Entwined.

It opens with a doctor's report. A patient taken into intensive care walks around his room at night, pretending to use a flashlight and screaming, and the staff do not know whether the loss of his frontal lobe has anything to do with it. Then the questions turn to you: where are you, who are you, and what is out there. Your worst nightmare.

The maker promises partial free roam, mechanics never seen in a FNaF fan game, interactive cinematic cutscenes, full voice acting and multiple endings. The screenshots show dark hospital corridors, a family home with an attic you were told never to go in, and nightmare animatronics with rows of teeth: a rotted Fredbear, a pale broken rabbit and a small bear on a stage under the words Join us.

The maker lists minimum hardware of a GTX 750 class card and 4 GB of RAM. It suits fans who follow FNAF stories and want a darker, nightmare-themed chapter of a long-running fan series.
