The fourth Final Nights, a free FNAF fan game by JeliLiam made in Unreal Engine 4. You play the founder of Fredbear's Family Diner in 1973, covering the night shift after his guard vanishes, and a paranormal investigator in 2017 looking for him, through classic camera nights, mini nights and point-and-click puzzles.

About Final Nights 4: Fates Entwined

Final Nights 4: Fates Entwined is the last part of JeliLiam's Final Nights fan series, released on Game Jolt in 2018 and built in Unreal Engine 4 with a team of modellers, animators, musicians and voice actors. It is a free download for Windows, with a lower-spec version for older PCs.

It tells the origin story of the series in two halves. In 1973 you are Henry Stillwater, founder of Fredbear's Family Diner, working with Afton Robotics to build a restaurant the whole family can enjoy. When the night guard stops turning up, you take the shift yourself, and start to see the truth about the man behind the robots. In 2017 you are Max Donovan, a paranormal investigator following an anonymous tip about Henry's disappearance into the abandoned diner, where something restless wants to show him what happened.

The nights play like classic Five Nights at Freddy's: a camera map of the diner's rooms, from the show stage and gift shop to the kitchen and back rooms, watched from a security post. Between them come short Sister Location-style mini nights and point-and-click puzzles, like a coded panel in a ruined room. Fredbear and Spring Bonnie stand on a purple-curtained stage, and the 2017 diner is wet, overgrown and dark.

Its makers promise multiple endings. It suits players who follow FNAF's lore as much as its scares, and want a fan story that fills in the diner's earliest days.

How to play Final Nights 4: Fates Entwined

Download the free Windows version, or the low-spec version, from the game's Game Jolt page.
On each night, switch through the cameras on the map and track what moves.
React to each threat as the night requires and survive until morning.
Between nights, explore and solve the point-and-click puzzles to move the story on.
Play both the 1973 and 2017 stories to see how they meet, and look for the other endings.
