Those Nights at Fredbear's: New Destiny is a fan game by Rofnay, released free on Game Jolt in 2024. It reimagines Those Nights at Fredbear's, a fan game by Nikson (maker of The Joy of Creation) that was cancelled, and finishes it in Unreal Engine with voice acting, cutscenes, extras and its own soundtrack. It is a Windows download.

Your job is to survive all of your night shifts at a Fredbear's restaurant while avoiding its animatronic cast: Spring Bonnie, Spring Freddy, Plushtrap and the main star, Fredbear. You are not stuck behind a desk. You walk, run, crouch and lean round corners in first person, with a flashlight you switch on and off, between an office with an old computer and a FUN poster of Fredbear, checkered party rooms, a dark storage room and a red-lit corridor to the generator.

The tension is in moving through a building that is mostly black, listening for which animatronic is near and deciding when to risk the light. Its maker notes it may not run through the Game Jolt client, so download it directly.

It suits players who liked The Joy of Creation or the free-roam official games and want the Fredbear era on foot.

How to play Those Nights at Fredbear's: New Destiny

1. Download the free version from the game's Game Jolt page and run it directly, not through the Game Jolt client.
2. Walk with WASD, run with Left Shift and crouch with C.
3. Lean round corners with the mouse buttons before you step out.
4. Use the flashlight with F only when you need it.
5. Avoid Fredbear, Spring Bonnie, Spring Freddy and Plushtrap and survive each night shift.

Tips

• Lean before you turn a corner; it is safer than walking into a hall blind.
• Keep the flashlight off while moving through areas you already know.
• A gamepad works if you prefer it, with leaning on the right stick.
