What frightens An ignited, decayed Springtrap hunts you through the dark halls of Fazbear's Fright while you search for what you need to burn the place down; you crouch, check the cameras and play sounds to lure him away, because he is faster than you.

Content: jumpscares, loud sounds.

A free FNAF fan game by Nikson, released for Halloween 2016 as a standalone part of The Joy of Creation. You roam the dark halls of Fazbear's Fright in first person, searching for what you need to burn it down, while an ignited Springtrap hunts you and you hide, lure and watch the cameras.

About The Joy of Creation: Halloween Edition

The Joy of Creation: Halloween Edition is a free fan game by Nikson, released in 2016 as a standalone follow-up to The Joy of Creation, with an animator, a writer and music by Nathan Hanover. It is a Windows download on Game Jolt, with a Lite edition that strips out wires and clutter for slower PCs.

Its tagline sets it up: the metal groans and shrieks, the flesh rips, the body is on its very last stand, but the desire for vengeance is stronger than ever, and now it is his turn. The one enemy is Springtrap, ignited and decayed, and the place is Fazbear's Fright, the horror attraction of the third FNAF game.

You are free to roam its blue-lit corridors and back rooms in first person. Your aim is to find what you need to destroy the building and free what haunts it; your tools are borrowed from the series: cameras to see where he is, a sound you can play to draw him somewhere else, and a phone. You crouch to stay quiet, and when he finds you, there is no fighting back.

It asks for a reasonably strong PC. It suits players who liked hiding from Springtrap in the official games and want to do it on foot.

How to play The Joy of Creation: Halloween Edition

  3. Switch cameras with the left mouse button to see where Springtrap is.
  4. Play a sound with the right mouse button to lure him away from where you need to go.
  5. Crouch with C to stay hidden, and complete the objectives without being caught.
