Five Nights at Chuck E. Cheese's: Rebooted is a fan game by Radiance Team, released free on Game Jolt in 2021 as an official, complete reboot of Jollytea's popular 2015 fan game, with the original creator producing. It keeps the spirit of the first game with new mechanics and graphics. It is a Windows download.

The set-up is a short contract: in a few days the old animatronics are going to be replaced, someone has to watch the restaurant through the changeover, and management has made you the temporary nightwatchman. You get security cameras for your and the animatronics' safety, and a personal phone guide. It should be a simple job.

You sit at a cluttered desk under the stage windows, with a lamp, a Stage Call box and a little monitor. The cameras come up in grainy black and white, dated October 1979, across five channels: the dressing room's lockers, the arcade's Pong cabinets, the front entrance. The characters do not stay on stage, and sometimes one is leaning in beside your desk when you look up.

It suits players who like the classic camera-and-office night with a different restaurant's history behind it.

How to play Five Nights at Chuck E. Cheese's: Rebooted

1. Download the free Windows version from the game's Game Jolt page.
2. Listen to the phone guide at the start of each night.
3. Open the cameras and switch through the five channels to see where the animatronics are.
4. Watch your office as well as the screen, and react when something comes close.
5. Survive until morning, night after night, until the changeover.

Tips

• Learn which channel covers which room early; later nights move faster.
• Do not stay on the cameras so long that you miss what is happening at your desk.
• Mute the call once you know what it says, so you can hear the building.
