What frightens In a dark manufacturing facility, withered animatronics creep toward your office on the cameras while the fans that feed you oxygen break down one by one; metal animatronics appear on screen and in the dark, and when one gets in, the lights die and you have seconds to pull the gas lever.

The third JOLLY, a free FNAF-style fan game by IvanG. Set in a manufacturing facility decades after JOLLY 2, it gives you six-minute nights, a gas lever to fend off withered animatronics, oxygen fans to keep repairing and metal animatronics that punish you for looking, or for not looking.

About JOLLY 3: Chapter 1

JOLLY 3: Chapter 1 is the third game in IvanG's JOLLY fan series, released free on Game Jolt in 2017. Markiplier's verdict, quoted on its page, was that it was astonishingly well done. It is a Windows download.

It moves the series to the Afton-Johnson Manufacturing Facility. Each night lasts six minutes, and the withered animatronics make their way toward your security office through a junction and a front hallway. When one gets in, the lights go out and you have a short time to pull the gas lever and reset it, and every pull costs oxygen.

Oxygen comes from fans on each camera, which break as the night goes on and have to be found and repaired from the monitor, with a maintenance menu to refill gas and air. The metal animatronics add their own rules: one appears on any camera and has to be stared down, one only comes when your view goes dark, and with others the last thing you want to do is look. Cassette tapes take the place of phone calls, and after each night you leave the office for a different minigame in search of artifacts.

It suits players who finished JOLLY and JOLLY 2 and want a night with more systems to juggle than the first two.

Watch the cameras and the fans that keep your oxygen up.
Repair any broken fan before your oxygen runs out.
When an animatronic gets into the office and the lights fail, pull the gas lever to reset it.
Learn which metal animatronics to stare at and which never to look at, and survive the six minutes.

Tips

Every pull of the gas lever costs oxygen; keep the fans healthy so you can afford it.
