STASIS: BONE TOTEM is an isometric horror point-and-click adventure from The Brotherhood. Salvagers Mac and Charlie and their robot toy Moses find an abandoned oil rig in the Pacific and descend into a vast underwater base, solving puzzles as they uncover what the Cayne Corporation buried there.

About STASIS: BONE TOTEM

STASIS: BONE TOTEM is the second game in The Brotherhood's STASIS anthology, a new story with new characters after the 2015 original. It came out on PC in May 2023, and Feardemic brought it to PlayStation, Xbox and Switch in March 2024. The music is by Mark Morgan, known for the early Fallout games.

Mac and Charlie are a married couple who make their living scouring the ocean for salvage. When they find an abandoned oil rig in the Pacific, they go aboard and then down, into an underwater base the Cayne Corporation would rather nobody saw. With them is Moses, their trusty Super-Toy robot.

It plays in the classic way: an isometric view of detailed pre-rendered rooms, where you click to explore, read logs and terminals, combine items and solve intricate machine puzzles. You explore with all three, Mac, Charlie and Moses, switching between them as you go.

The horror is in what the base holds: embalmed bodies, fungus rotting through flesh, notes from the people who worked there and an ancient secret at the bottom of the sea. It is a slow, reading-heavy adventure rather than a chase. It suits fans of SOMA's underwater dread and of the old isometric horror adventures, and players who like their puzzles hard.
