What frightens Your night job is at Friedrich's Pizza, where the great Friedrich and his band of lifelike, near-sentient animatronics, Bernard, Clara and others with too many teeth, try to get into your strange purple office; you watch them on the cameras, mind the power and the heat, and cook pizzas, read manuals and fire lasers to keep them out, because, as the maker puts it, they want to rip off your arms.

Five Nights at Friedrich's is a free Five Nights at Freddy's fan game by ryon, drawn in a cartoon style. Over six nights and a custom night you guard a purple office from Friedrich the bear and his near-sentient animatronic band, using cameras, a sprinkler, lasers and a pizza oven while watching your power and temperature.

Five Nights at Friedrich's is a fan game by the solo maker ryon, with a free demo released in June 2024 and the full game in June 2025, updated to version 1.1.1 in September 2025. It is free on Game Jolt for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Willkommen to Friedrich's Pizza, says the welcome: a mystical, magical, fantastical restaurant where anything is possible, headlined by the great Friedrich and his band of lifelike, near-sentient animatronic friends. Then the pitch drops the act. These things are going to kill you; they seem to be having fun with it; they want to rip off your arms and gouge out your eyeballs. Are you going to let them?

You sit in your strange, purple office and do whatever it takes to keep Friedrich, Bernard, Clara and the others out. The screenshots show a camera map of ten rooms, a power percentage and usage meter, a temperature reading, and tools on the monitor: a sprinkler, lasers and a button to cook pizza. The full game has six nights and a custom night, seven animatronics, challenges, three minigames, 32 trophies, an original soundtrack and plenty of secrets. As for why they are German, the maker simply liked the name Friedrich.

The art is hand-drawn cartoon and the writing has a dark sense of humour, but the nights are played straight: they come for you, and you have to keep them out. It suits FNAF fans who like One Night at Flumpty's mix of funny and tense.

How to play Five Nights at Friedrich's

Download the full game, or the free two-night demo, from its Game Jolt page, and extract the whole zip into one folder before running it.
Start a night and check the cameras on the map to see where the animatronics are.
Watch the power meter and the temperature in the corners of the screen.
Use the sprinkler, the lasers and the pizza oven to keep each animatronic out of your office.
Survive to 6 AM, through six nights and then the custom night.

Tips

Read the manuals the game gives you; the maker lists reading them among your tools.
Each animatronic needs its own answer, so learn which tool works on whom.
If it crashes on the loading screen, the maker says your graphics card may not support OpenGL 3.
Try the custom night challenges, such as Low Power Mode, once you have finished the nights.
