What frightens Three teenagers who bully a classmate spend a night of games and jokes at a friend's house, until an order nobody placed arrives and the night turns to violence; jump scares in a dim, low-poly house and street.

Content: jumpscares, violence, bullying, crude humour.

Last Laugh is a first-person PS1-style horror game by arydk about three teenagers who bully their classmates. A lazy night of games, noodles and jokes at a friend's house in Indonesia goes wrong, and what you choose to do decides which of seven endings you reach.

About Last Laugh

Last Laugh is a small horror game by the solo developer arydk, released on Steam for Windows on 26 March 2025. Its maker describes it simply: a horror game with seven different endings, about the fate of three teenagers who often bully their classmates.

You play one of three friends who like to hang out, laugh and play games at one of their houses. Tonight they talk about a classmate they put in hospital, run errands such as buying noodles at the corner shop, and dare each other into push-ups, until a food delivery nobody ordered turns up at the door. From there the night slides into something much worse.

It is played in first person around the house and its street, with small tasks shown in the corner of the screen and objects and people you click on to act. Many choices lead somewhere: players say the endings range from the grim main story to silly detours, and autosaves and chapter saves let you go back and try another route without starting over. The main menu itself changes as you unlock endings.

The look is deliberately rough, with low-poly bodies, photo faces and grainy textures in dim rooms, and the maker calls it a retro horror atmosphere. Players report jump scares that made them shout, and some find the crude jokes and over-the-top scenes funny or out of place. Several reviewers say what stays with them is the message about bullying and its cost.

It suits players who like cheap, short PS1-style horror with lots of endings to hunt, in the vein of Chilla's Art, with a local setting you rarely see in games.

How to play Last Laugh

  1. Follow the current task shown at the top left, such as taking an order at the door or buying noodles.
  2. Walk around the house and street in first person and click on people and objects to interact.
  3. Choose what to say and do; small choices can change where the night goes.
  4. When you reach an ending, load an autosave or a chapter to try another route.
  5. Collect all seven endings and watch the main menu change as you go.

Tips

  • Interact with everything, even things that seem pointless; some endings hang on odd actions.
  • Players say not every interactive object is obvious, so look closely at each room.
  • Use chapter saves rather than replaying from the start when hunting the remaining endings.
  • Look for the true ending if your first ending feels silly; players say it changes the picture.
