One Night at Flumpty's 3 is the 2021 conclusion of Jonochrome's trilogy of Five Nights at Freddy's parodies with an egg in them, as its maker puts it. It is free for Windows on Game Jolt, and Clickteam publishes paid versions for iPhone and Android.

"Hiya, best friend!" Flumpty Bumpty, the grinning egg, is back with all of his strange companions for one last round of what he calls survival hide-and-seek, played until the clock strikes 6 AM. This time you are armed with little more than a point-and-click camera with a flash, and the room you are kept in is freezing.

The room is drawn in icy blue, hung with icicles and odd ornaments, with a thermometer filling the corner of the screen. Cameras show the rest of the house: a fireplace where a boxy figure in a party hat sits, a gallery of grinning clown paintings, a furnace room with pipes like horns. You switch between them, flash what comes too close, and keep an eye on the cold.

The art stays cartoonish and the jokes stay in, but the cover's blood-streaked egg is a fair warning of its jumpscares. It suits fans of the first two and anyone who likes a FNAF-style night with its own odd cast.

How to play One Night at Flumpty's 3

1. Download the free Windows version from Game Jolt, or buy it on the App Store or Google Play.
2. Switch through the cameras to see where each character is.
3. Use the camera flash on whatever comes too close.
4. Watch the thermometer and do not let the cold beat you.
5. Learn each character's rules and survive until 6 AM.

Tips

• Count your flashes; the counter is on screen for a reason.
• Each companion has its own pattern, so watch before you react.
• Keep checking the room itself, not only the cameras.
